Recovery Coaching in Justice Settings (RCJS)

Through 1:1 and group sessions, Recovery Coaches and participants will explore recovery and wellness goals through a lens of motivational interviewing. Participants are self identified as in SUD recovery, or may be interested in entering recovery.

Recovery Coaching in Justice Settings also serves at DUI Treatment Court in White River & Greater Falls Community Justice Center’s Restorative Programs in Springfield & Rockingham, Valley Court Diversion and Springfield’s Probation and Parole and Police Department settings.

The program looks to connect incarcerated individuals with a trained Recovery Coach. RCJS serves Southern State Correctional Facility (SSCF) in Springfield, VT.

Recovery Coaches are available to the Springfield Police department on an on call basis.

The program is 100% voluntary for participants. SSCF serves a male population.

Goal: To foster a culture of hope, understanding, and collaboration, helping individuals achieve sustainable recovery and improving public safety for all.
