Youth Empowerment Supports
Empowering youth in enhancing their lives by encouraging healthier choices.
The Youth Empowerment Support Program (YES) empowers young people to become their best selves by providing accessible, peer-driven support in a safe and inclusive environment.
Through a combination of individual mentorship, group engagement, and family support, YES meets youth where they are, whether they are facing substance misuse, mental health struggles, or complex social pressures.
What sets YES apart is its peer-led model, connecting youth with mentors who have lived experience and can offer authentic understanding, trust, and guidance. This approach fosters meaningful relationships that promote resilience, self-confidence, and healthier decision-making.
By addressing both individual and environmental factors—such as family dynamics, identity exploration, and community influences—the program creates a support system that extends beyond recovery into overall well-being and personal growth.

“I want to connect with someone who’s been there, gets it, and can listen. And, I want to help others who are where I’ve been.”
