Our 7-bed Springfield Transition House provides a safe, substance-free home for individuals in recovery. With support from a live-in House Manager, staff, and volunteers, house guests receive support and connections to local resources & additional services. Most participants stay 3–16 months while preparing to transition back into the community.

Transition House Garden
The Hands In The Field Program features a 0.5 acre on-site garden that brings folks together to enjoy planting, weeding, and other garden maintenance. During the summer, the garden provides a variety of vegetables that are planted, grown and harvested by Transition House guests and volunteers.
Chester, VT
Our 6-bed Transition House in downtown Chester provides a safe, substance-free step-down housing program for individuals in recovery. The residence operates with an onsite House Manager and is designed for those ready to embrace greater independence.
Program Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant must come from a prior structured housing program
Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year of sobriety
Applicant must have a personal, reliable means of transportation
Applicant must have stable employment
